Hailing from the fertile Austin, TX, music scene, the Swells specialized in swirling dream pop reminiscent of British shoegazer groups such as Ride, Lush, and My Bloody Valentine, and created richly textured songs soaked in sprawling atmospherics and chiming melodies.
