Taka Nawashiro

A Japanese guitarist based in New York City, Taka Nawashiro makes nuanced, contemporary post-bop jazz. He debuted with What We Do Now in 2020, followed by Lifescape in 2024. Hailing from Saitama, Japan, Nawashiro earned a scholarship to study music at the School of Jazz and Contemporary Music at The New School in New York City.
