Biography
Singer/songwriter Tamar Kaprelian got her big break after winning OneRepublic's "Apologize" Cover Contest on YouTube in 2008. The cover tune was released as a single and OneRepublic lead Ryan Tedder introduced Kaprelian to Interscope, who eventually signed her to a recording contract. Born in Scottsdale, AZ, the Armenian-American Kaprelian was first excited by the music in classic animated Disney films.
