Tay Iwar

Nigerian singer, producer, and sound engineer Tay Iwar is known for his vibrant brand of Afro-fusion, drawing upon classic Afrobeat, hip-hop, and alternative R&B. Iwar was still only in his teens when he released his first albums, including 2016's Renascentia. He rose to wider fame with 2019's Gemini and in 2021 released his Love & Isolation EP. Iwar grew up in Abuja, Nigeria, where he took piano lessons in his youth and played guitar.
