Named for a phrase from a '60s ad in Playboy magazine, melodically sweet, experimental electro-pop band Teen Men began as a one-off public-access TV audio/video project in Wilmington, Delaware. Singer/guitarist Nick Krill and guitarist Joey Hobson of indie dance-rockers the Spinto Band, with visual artists Albert Birney and Catharine Maloney (both on keyboards), eventually gathered enough material from subsequent sessions to follow up on the project, which involved music inspiring the video artists and vice versa.
