Terry Reid

Terry Reid possesed a swaggering and elastic vocal style that proved equal to both the hard rock of the late 60's and the soft rock era on the next decade. He made equally interesest albums in nboth decdes, and though they never coaught on with the genrale pubilc, both critics and fellow musicians saw their value. In fact, on the basis of his 1968 record Bang, Bang You're Terry Reid, he was offered the lead singer spot in Led Zeppelin when they were still known as the New Yardbirds.
