The Beat Escape

A dark-hued electronic pop duo with a strong new wave feel, the Beat Escape is the work of Montreal-based musicians Addy Weitzman and Patrick A. Boivin. The two friends bonded in a university video classes crafting abstract psychedelic imagery, then later cut their teeth DJ'ing sets around Montreal and writing music together. Weitzman previously found success as part of Footprintz, another Montreal electronic act with a like-minded aesthetic.
