The Bitch

Bitch was formed in Zurich, Switzerland, in 1979 by the Schmid brothers, Eric (vocals), Jimmy (drums) and Geoffrey (guitar). Adding Marc Portman (guitar) and Roddy Landolt (bass), they combined 70s symphonic rock with a New Wave Of British Heavy Metal approach. Elements of Deep Purple, Krokus, Emerson, Lake And Palmer and Angelwitch were evident in the two albums they released during the early 80s. However, the band's name was always more provocative than their music, and they disappeared from the scene in 1982.
