The Disco Boys

In order to be at the forefront of the German "rebirth of discomania," Gordon Hollenga and Raphael Krickow joined forces in 1995 and formed the campy, fun, and totally danceable Disco Boys. They earned a loyal following in their native Hamburg thanks to their exciting DJ sets, which mixed classic disco with current house tracks. Constant gigging spread the word, and soon the duo was playing sets at Germany's largest electronic music festivals, including Berlin's Love Parade and Dortmund's Mayday. In 2001, with the simple title Vol. 1, they began a successful series of mix CDs....
