The Felsons

Edinburgh, Scotland-based country rockers, formed in 1995 by Dean Owens (b. Scotland; guitar/vocals) and Kevin McGuire (bass). The duo had been playing country sets in local pubs and was cajoled into recording an album by a friend who owned a recording studio. The resulting One Step Ahead Of The Posse was an enjoyable, straightforward country outing that ably reprised the duo's live shows. The line-up was then expanded to include Calais Brown (guitar/mandolin) and Keith Burns (drums), with the new-look quartet self-releasing the mini-album Lasso The Moon in 1997. A contract wi...
