Canadian punk stalwarts Flatliners play aggressive but melodic old-school, pre-hardcore punk rock, enlivened with the occasional dubby bassline or inverted ska rhythm. Making their debut with 2005's Destroy to Create, the group saw their audience expand considerably when they signed to Fat Wreck Chords for 2007's The Great Awake. They scored a chart hit in their homeland with 2010's Cavalcade, and were still going strong after two decades with hard-hitting efforts like 2022's New Ruin and 2026's Cold World.
