The Giant

Explorers in the wide-open spaces of atmospheric post-metal, North Carolina's Giant create politically charged music that owes as much to Noam Chomsky and Karl Marx as it does to Pelican and Neurosis. Initially formed in 2004 as a musical project by brothers Isaac and Zac Jones, and eventually expanding the lineup to include Derrick Wells, Kyle Whisenant, and Rodney James, the band has become a means of both artistic and sociopolitical expression.
