    Melbourne, Australia's the Go Set were formed in 2002 by singer, songwriter, and guitarist Justin Keenan, whose approach fuses a heavy punk attack with traditional instrumentation and Celtic folk influences. Citing the inspiration of artists like the Pogues, the Clash, Midnight Oil, and Billy Bragg, the band introduced its signature sound with 2004's Sing a Song of Revolution, an energetic set with strong political and socially aware undertones.
