Biography

Hot Knives were formed in San Francisco, California, USA, in 1974 by two ex-members of the Flamin' Groovies. Tim Lynch (guitar) and Danny Mihm (drums) were joined by Debbie Houpt (vocals), Mike Houpt (guitar, vocals) and Ed Wilson (bass) in an act that replayed San Francisco's pop sound of the 60s. Two singles, ‘I Hear The Wind Blow' and a version of Moby Grape's ‘Hey Grandma', appeared on the Hot Knives' own label.
