The Jack Rubies

The Jack Rubies are a London band whose jangling, percussive guitar pop led them to be associated with the greater C86 movement in late-'80s Britain. Stateside, they endeared themselves to college rock radio, especially with the 1987 single "Be with You," and released a pair of albums on TVT Records. Following 1990's See the Money in My Smile, the group disbanded for over three decades, eventually reuniting with their original lineup in the early 2020s.
