An R&B vocal group from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, the Joneses were typical of the vocal group renaissance of the early 70s, recording in the soft-soul mode that featured a falsetto lead, pretty harmonies and fully orchestrated arrangements. The original group started in Pittsburgh in 1969, but the recording group arrived at its final line-up after moving to New York to record for V.M.P. Records in the early 70s.
