The Kraken

Colombian Kraken started a local revolution in 1984 after singer Elkin Ramírez teamed up with Gonzalo Vásquez, Jorge Atehortua, and Hugo Restrepo to play songs about social issues related to Latin American people. In 1986, their first single was released, including "Todo Hombre Es Una Historia" and "Muere Libre." A year later, "Escudo y Espada" and "Soy Real" anticipated their self-titled debut album.
