The Mary Veils

Founded in the late 2010s, Philadelphia's psych-tinged, garage fuzz quartet the Mary Veils is the brainchild of vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter Brian von Uff. In 2017, he self-released Slacker Paint, a quirky, dynamic, and melodic set recorded by Jesse Gimbel at his Upper Darby studio, The Basement. Von Uff wrote and performed each of the album's 13 tracks in their entirety.
