Biography
A long-running roots rock ensemble, the Morells formed in Springfield, Missouri in the early '80s. Born out of several other bands including the Symptoms and the Skeletons, the Morells included guitarist D. Clinton Thompson, bassist Lou Whitney, and keyboardists Kelly Brown, Joe Terry, and Maralie Terry, as well as drummer Ron Gremp and saxophone player Jim Martin. They released their debut album, Shake and Push, in 1982.
