The Olms

The Olms are a retro-leaning pop/rock duo made up of singer/songwriter Pete Yorn and musician, photographer, and artist J.D. King. The two met in the mid-2000s through King's girlfriend and stayed in touch over the years. When Yorn heard King's 2008 album Here's J.D. King, he was so impressed with his friend's musical acumen that he invited him on tour. The two began working seriously on music together in the autumn of 2011, writing songs and recording them at King's Bel Air, California home studio.
