Alice and Angelo Palladino were primarily influenced by the songs of Bob Dylan and Van Morrison as well as the poetry of Dylan Thomas and Wilfred Owen when they set up this hard-working folk duo. Angelo was born in London, England, though his father was a prisoner of war whose origins can be traced to Caserta, near Naples in Italy.
