The Pizzarelli Boys

The Pizzarelli Boys are a straight-ahead jazz trio featuring journeyman jazz guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli and his sons guitarist John Pizzarelli and bassist Martin Pizzarelli. Bucky has been an active and vital presence on the New York City jazz scene since the '50s, while both John and Martin came into their own during the late '80s and early '90s. They have released three albums, including 2007's Sunday at Pete's, 2009's Pizzarelli Party (released under the name the Pizzarellis), and 2010's Desert Island Dreamers. ~ Matt Collar
