Taking their name from a book by Greil Marcus, the Plot to Blow Up the Eiffel Tower formed in San Diego, CA, in 2001, comprised of Brandon Welchez (vocals/sax), Chuck Rowell (guitar), Brian Hill (drums), and Dan Maier (bass).
