Biography
Baltimore punk-pop trio the Put-Outs was formed in early 1996 by singer/guitarist John Shafer, bassist Tim Conder and drummer Sam "The Beast" Holden. Debuting later that year with the single "The Sky Is Falling," the group also contributed to a series of compilations in the months to follow, along the way replacing Holden with drummer Rodney Cash. The Put-Outs' full-length debut Sing the Hits followed in 1999. ~ Jason Ankeny
