The Routine

Indie rock duo Routine consists of Jay Som's Melina Duterte and Chastity Belt bassist Annie Truscott, who acts as singer and main songwriter. They debuted the project's hazy guitar textures and languorous ruminations on the EP And Other Things in 2020. Truscott and Duterte wrote and recorded Routine's debut EP while on pandemic lockdown together in Joshua Tree in mid-2020.
