Biography
Cincinnati, Ohio trio the Serfs make synth-punk informed by gloomy minimal wave and post-industrial movements within the coldwave genre. After two especially stark early releases, the band expanded their sound to include a wider-ranging (if not particularly warmer) instrumentation on their third album, Half Eaten by Dogs, which was released in 2023 by Trouble in Mind Records.
The Serfs formed in the later part of the 2010s, made up of Dakota Carlyle, Andie Luman, and Dylan McCartney. All three musicians contribute vocals, electronics, and other various instruments to the band...
