The Shadowboxers are an R&B-infused pop ensemble noted for their three-part vocal harmonies and soft rock veneer. Originally a trio formed in 2008 by singer/musicians Adam Hoffman, Matt Lipkins, and Scott Schwartz, all then students at Emory University in Atlanta, they got their first record deal after coming to the attention of the Indigo Girls' Emily Saliers at a dinner gathering.
