Formed in Yorkshire, England in 1965, the Shots comprised of Mick Rowley (vocals), Mal Luker (guitar), Phil Peacock (rhythm guitar), John ‘Zeke' Lund (bass) and Geoff Gill (drums). They secured a slot on a contemporary package tour headlined by P.J. Proby, before decamping to a mansion in Essex at the behest of their millionaire manager, Alan Brush.
