The Shots

Formed in Yorkshire, England in 1965, the Shots comprised of Mick Rowley (vocals), Mal Luker (guitar), Phil Peacock (rhythm guitar), John ‘Zeke' Lund (bass) and Geoff Gill (drums). They secured a slot on a contemporary package tour headlined by P.J. Proby, before decamping to a mansion in Essex at the behest of their millionaire manager, Alan Brush. Here he erected a marquee and p.a. system exclusively for rehearsals. The Shots' lone single, ‘Keep A Hold Of What You've Got'/‘She's A Liar', was issued on Columbia Records in 1965.
