Like contemporary acts Coheed & Cambria and Taking Back Sunday, Long Island, NY's the Sleeping merge emo, hardcore, and various other styles into an angst-ridden soup. Vocalist Doug Robinson, guitarist Cameron Keym, bassist Sal Mignano, and drummer Joe Zizzo were previously involved with various other bands (including the defunct Skycamefalling), and these experiences brought an additional progressive edge to the Sleeping's 2004 debut, Believe What We Tell You.
