The Sorcerers

British group the Sorcerers play intoxicating instrumentals chiefly influenced by Ethio-jazz, but incorporating elements of European horror soundtracks, deep funk, exotica, and library music. Consisting of members of ATA Records' house band, they released their self-titled debut album in 2015, and soon received praise and support from Ethio-jazz pioneer Mulatu Astatke, as well as Jimi Tenor, Shawn Lee, and others.
