Biography
A top quality Euro dance duo, the Sound Factory are Emil Hellman (songwriting/ instrumentation/ production) and St James (vocals). They were formed in Sweden in 1992 after Hellman had established his name as a DJ and remixer. Their debut of that year, ‘Understand This Groove', proved an immediate success. As well as selling well in Europe it sold over 140, 000 copies in the USA. Two further successful singles, ‘To The Rhythm' and ‘Bad Times', preceded the release of their debut album the following year.
