Wanting to bring back the reminiscent sounds of early 1977 Brit-punk while incorporating reggae and mod influences, Minneapolis, Minnesota brothers Chad (guitar/vocals) and Chris (drums) Anderson created the Strike in 1993. Preaching the word of red politics, organized labor unions, and their love for Vespa scooters, the brothers were soon joined by bassist Kris Adams and second guitarist Micah Garlich-Miller.
