Influenced by the jangle pop of classic Flying Nun and featuring members with an impressively long CV, the Australian combo Stroppies began as a lo-fi bedroom project. They released a home-cooked self-titled EP in 2017, then made the jump to a studio while recording their debut album, 2019's Whoosh.
