The Telephone Numbers

The Telephone Numbers are part of the San Francisco indie pop scene that looks to Byrds-y jangle, paisley underground psychedelia, and the peak days of '80s college rock as starting points for their melodic, literary sound. Led by songwriter Thomas Rubenstein, the Telephone Numbers sometimes includes members of the Umbrellas and the Reds, Pinks, and Purples. Their sophomore album, Scarecrow II, was released by Slumberland Records in October of 2025.
