Steve Goodie (b. 11/4/65) and Jacob Kantor (b. 7/18/71), two Jewish songwriting comedians, teamed up as a novelty duo in Los Angeles in February of 1998 as the guitar strumming "Two Jew Revue." Goodie, a Chicago native, grew up imitating the acoustic harmonics of '70s folk and pop bands like Simon & Garfunkel, as well as honing his own brand of young, single, Jewish guy humor as a standup routine.
