Twin sisters Chandra Watson and Leigh Watson's music crosses the divide between country traditions and contemporary roots music. Born in Kentucky, the Watson Twins relocated to Los Angeles in the early aughts. They got a significant career boost when they appeared on Jenny Lewis' 2006 solo debut. After signing with Vanguard, they released their first full-length album, Fire Songs, in 2008, with Talking to You, Talking to Me appearing two years later.
