A solo vehicle for singer/songwriter and ex-Cadillac Sky frontman Bryan Simpson, the Whistles & the Bells specialize in an evocative blend of Southern folk, gritty alt-country, and indie gospel, invoking names like Wovenhand, Jason Isbell, Mount Moriah, and Blitzen Trapper.
