Biography
Folk trio the Young'uns formed in 2004 in County Durham after they stumbled across the Stockton Folk Club at a local pub during a spot of underage drinking. The young Sean Cooney, David Eagle, and Michael Hughes were so taken with what they heard they founded a band, taking their name from their experience of being the youngest people at the folk club. They released their first album, When Grandfathers Said No, in 2012, which combined cover versions and original compositions.
