Them Mushrooms

Them Mushrooms are probably the most prolific band in Kenya today. They have 12 albums to their name and have collaborated with many of the nation's stars. Without a doubt the key to their success, however, lies in their relentless travels around the tourist hotel circuit, where they perform sometimes nightly. Groups such as Them Mushrooms crank out a medley of palatable sounds that span the midriff of the continent for the city's appreciative foreigners. ~ Leon Jackson
