Thomas Blondelle

Versatile tenor Thomas Blondelle has a repertory ranging from operetta to heroic roles in operas by Wagner and Richard Strauss. He is a longtime cast member at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. Blondelle has a substantial recording catalog that includes such rarities as Ferdinand Ries' opera Die Räuberbraut. In 2024, he was heard on a CPO recording of Franz Lehár's operetta Schön ist die Welt. Blondelle was born in Bruges, Belgium, on October 3, 1982.
