Tiki Taane

Originally known for his high-energy antics and performances as the frontman for the New Zealand group Salmonella Dub, Tiki Taane became a solo artist in early 2007. In October of that year, Taane -- who had also carved out a solid career for himself in drum'n'bass as part of the group Shapeshifter (as well as being known as MC Rizzla with the group Concord Dawn, with whom he would make his first impressions felt, musically speaking) -- released his first album, Past, Present, Future. ~ Chris True
