Whether they were slinging bouncy, Hanson-esque teen pop or synth-driven indie rock, Tiktak managed to hold their own as a staple of Finnish Top 40 radio in the early 2000s. Comprised of six girls from a music school in Helsinki (Petra, Mimmu, Emppu, Noora, Nea, and Tuuli), the bandmembers were barely in their teens by the time they landed a major record deal with Universal in 1999.
