Tim Drummond

b. Timothy Lee Drummond, 20 April 1940, Bloomington, Illinois, USA, d. 10 January 2015, St. Louis County, Missouri, USA. One of the leading session players in the music business, bass player Drummond began playing R&B and rock 'n' roll when the air force put his father on a year's transfer to Charleston, South Carolina. Returning to Illinois, he played guitar in a local band with ‘Wild Child Gibson' of Little Richard fame, before turning his attention to the bass.
