TOKiMONSTA is a Korean-American producer, songwriter, and DJ whose sound has expanded from experimental hip-hop to electro-pop, house, and alternative R&B. Emerging from the Los Angeles beat scene of the 2000s, her early releases, such as the 2010 full-length debut Midnight Menu, consisted of vibrant hip-hop instrumentals filled with off-kilter beats and neon synths threaded with occasional guitars and other instruments.
