Tommy Prine comes by his love of music naturally -- his father was John Prine, one of the most celebrated singer/songwriters of his generation. However, as a musician and tunesmith, Tommy chose a different musical path than his dad; his music has a hard, rock-oriented edge that's rootsy but forceful, and his songs often look at a darker and more introspective side of life, adding a personal viewpoint that's all his own.
