b. 3 February 1938, Leeds, England. With up to 300 shows a year, Tony Goodacre has been among the hardest-working British country musicians. In his adolescence, Goodacre acted, sang and played piano but, realizing the advantages of being able to entertain on demand, he switched to guitar.
