Trent Dabbs

Nashville-based singer/songwriter and label head Trent Dabbs puts a pop-friendly spin on pastoral folk and rock ditties. Influenced by Johnny Cash, Neil Young, Big Star, the Beatles, and Nick Drake, he debuted in the early 2000s with Quite Often. His sound later added mainstream elements (such as synths on his 2010 album, Transition) and a rougher rock edge (heard on 2011's Southerner). By 2018, he'd issued his 11th full-length, Positano.
