During the late '60s, John Roger Breland had a dream of starting a Christian band. His goal was to share the message of the Gospel through music. In June of 1971 Breland's dream became a reality with the formation of the group, Truth, an acronym for "Trust, Receive, Unchangeable, True Happiness" in Jesus.
