TsuShiMaMiRe

Tsu Shi Ma Mi Re, often styled TsuShiMaMiRe, is a punk-inspired indie rock band from Chiba, Japan. A play on the word "mamire" (approximately, "smeared"), the name combined parts of the original members' names: Yayoi Tsushima (bass), Mari Kono (vocals/guitar), and Mizue Masuda (drums). The women began playing together in college and made their first homemade recordings in the early 2000s.
