Perhaps best known in the role of Alice Pieszecki on Showtime's The L Word, Leisha Hailey was also the woman behind Uh Huh Her, an electro-pop duo that made some waves on the indie circuit following the release of their debut album in 2007. Hailey, formerly of the jangly, Indigo Girls-esque duo the Murmurs, decided to make a return to the music biz following a five year break; she was subsequently introduced to Mellowdrone bassist and keyboardist Camila Grey in early 2007 and the pair hit it off.
